PTA is an organization whose members care about ALL children and youth - the school that they attend, the communities that they live in, and their opportunities for growth into happy, healthy, responsible citizens.

PTA is democracy at work - making a place for all citizens regardless of color, race, religious belief, political preference, or economic and social status. The UFRE/MS has adopted a new motto for the 2007-2009 school years: Partners Together Achieve ~ Building the Pathway to Tomorrow. It is our hope that through this partnership of parents and teachers we are able to provide many new and valuable educational opportunities for our children. 100% of what we do goes to the students and the community from PTA Membership dues and monies earned because of our fundraising efforts. Without our financial support, the programs and opportunities we offer our children would decrease if not vanish altogether. We can't do it alone; we need your help and support.

If you have not done so already and if you are able to, please consider:

• Being an Active supporter of the PTA Fundraising efforts
• Being an Active participant of PTA Events and Programs – come to our meetings (always the 2nd Tuesday of the month – except in June)
• Being an Active volunteer and sign a Three for ME Promise Card
• Being an Active supporter of our children's educational experiences by becoming a PTA member and joining our team to maintain the importance of how partners together achieve.
