A.H.S. Counseling Department: Graduation Requirements

As required by New Jersey School Law and Upper Freehold Regional Board of Education policy, candidates for a high schol diploma must earn a minimum of 130 credits. Additional credits may be necessary to meet the requirements of a specific pattern or goal.

Candidates for a high school diploma must complete the following core requirements in a four-year program:

Students must meet the requirements outlined in the district attendance policy.

All students must meet minimum requirements in reading, writing, mathematics and science as measured by the New Jersey High School Proficiency Assessment.

Individualized standards for classified students will be in accordance with the rules and regulations contained in the New Jersey Administrative Code for alternative education.
