Spanish 2 Honors	The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros Take notes as you read The House on Mango Street. Bring your notes to class to discuss them with your teacher and to plan a project.
Spanish 3	Complete the assignment packet. Students taking Spanish 3 will be given a packet on final exam day to complete over the summer. Extra copies will be available from the Guidance Office. Packets should be handed in to a Spanish teacher on the first day of school
Spanish 3 Honors	Viajes Fantasticos by Elias Miguel Muñoz Read "Mi Querida Cunada" and keep a journal in Spanish summarizing each capitulo. You should have an entry for each chapter.
Spanish 4 Honors	Viajes Fantasticos by Elilas Miguel Muñoz Read "El Ultimo Sol" and keep a journal in Spanish summarizing each capitulo. You should have an entry for each chapter.
Spanish 5 Honors	Ladron de la Mente by Elias Miguel Muñoz Cracking the SAT Spanish Subject Test, 2007-2008 ed. by George Pace and David Stewart 1. Read Ladron de la Mente and keep a journal in Spanish summarizing each capitulo. You should have an entry for each chapter. 2. Complete the first five exams in the SAT book.
A.P. Spanish	Cracking the AP Spanish Exam 2006-07 by Mary Leech Complete the two full-length exams in the Princeton Review Book.
French 2, 3 French 4 Honors	Larousse Pocket French/English English/French Dictionary by editors of Larousse 501 French Verbs by Christopher Kendris French the Easy Way by Christopher Kendris For the dictionary and 501 Verbs, review verbs from the previous year in present, past and future tenses. For French the Easy Way, review all verbs covered in French I. Review nouns (gender is important) from French I also.
French 3	Larousse Pocket French/English English/French Dictionary by editors of Larousse 501 French Verbs by Christopher Kendris Complete French Grammar Review by Renee White French Grammar Drills by Elaine Kurbegov For the dictionary and 501 Verbs, review verbs from the previous year in present, past and future tenses. For Complete French Grammar book, do various review exercises (your choice), which review verbs and verb forms covered previously in the present and the passé, compose forms. Review nouns and other important grammar sections such as ce, quel, and other idiomatic expressions. Read cultural and historical review sections. Bring book to class on the first day of school with the completed exercises. For French Grammar Drills, do a variety of grammar exercises that review verbs and major grammatical structures. Please bring book and work to class the first day of school.

For Ultimate French Review with CD, review verbs and grammatical structures in order to remain current and bring exercises and book with you the first day of class. Review all verbs and tenses. Listen to the CD. For French Grammar Drills, do a variety of grammar exercises that review verbs and major grammatical structures. Please bring book and work to class the first day of school.
French 5 Honors	Barron's How to Prepare for SAT 2 French: with Audio CDs by Renee White Larousse Pocket French/English English/French Dictionary by editors of Larousse 501 French Verbs by Christopher Kendris French Grammar Drills by Elaine Kurbegov For the Barron's book, students should read all grammar sections, review verb formations and SAT 2 vocabulary, and do the first three comprehension tests in the text. Review verbs from the previous year in present, past, imperfect, conditional, subjunctive and future tenses, using the 501 French Verbs book. For French Grammar Drills, do a variety of grammar exercises that review verbs and major grammatical structures. Please bring book and work to class the first day of school.
A.P. French	How to Prepare for the AP French: Advanced Placement Examination, 2nd Ed. w/ CDs by Laila Amiry Students should complete the first 3 tests, look up any new words, and turn this in on the first day of class.
