A.H.S. - Upper Freehold Community

Allentown High School is a comprehensive grade 9-12 high school located in central New Jersey, fifteen miles southwest of Princeton and twelve miles east of Trenton, the state capital. It is part of the Upper Freehold Regional School District and serves students from the K-8 districts of Upper Freehold Township, Allentown Borough and Millstone Township in Monmouth County. The municipalities served by the high school encompass a continuous land area of approximately 100 square miles. This area is predominantly rural/small town in character, and over half of its land is nominally in agricultural use. The community is in the process of change, however, and is becoming increasingly suburban. Its population is comprised basically of middle income families but children come from homes representing a wide spectrum of socio-economic levels.
