The Soles4Souls Shoe Drive is back in the UFRSD. The organization and idea comes from a student, and we are happy to support.

4th Grade Social 2025!!! Thank you to all the volunteers that made this a fun, safe, and memorable even for the students!

The NES Art Show was a huge success! Sending out a special, thank you to Mrs. Derisi for loving what she does and sharing her talents with each and every student who enters her classroom. We are all very lucky to have Mrs. Derisi here with us at Newell! Moreover, sending a "shout out" to the staff, students, families, PTA, and AHS for coming out to assist and enjoy all the beautiful artwork!

Principal for a Day! Principal Smith did a wonderful job today! We were so happy to have her lead our school.

All UFRSD schools will be on a 2-Hour Delayed Opening - Wednesday, February 12. If the delayed opening isn't able to work because of larger amounts of snow, another call will be made before 7:00 am on Feb. 12.

International Night Cont.....

A very special thank you to Ms. Moore and her amazing crew of volunteers, who hosted over 200 families (400-500 participants in total) for our annual Guys Night Out. NES students and their special Guys showcased their creativity by using/playing with Legos, went on a Library scavenger hunt, learned about some educational computer games, and finished off by getting to know their special "Guy" even more by asking him some important questions in the cafeteria! It was great to see how excited our students were to attend this special event.

Congratulations to our January Specialist's Award Recipients!

With icy/snowy conditions predicted for the morning, UFRSD schools will be on a 2-hour delayed opening, tomorrow - Thursday, Feb. 6.

Whoop, Whoop!!! Let's hear a huge congratulations for all of our presenters, volunteers, and the PTA!!! International Night was a huge success and SO MUCH FUN!!! Thank you to all who volunteered their time and to all who attended!!!

We are so PROUD of our Newell Tones! They did an awesome job at last night's Allentown Senior Night basketball game!
