All 1st, 5th, 9th graders and new students to our district will be receiving a new District issued Chromebook. In accordance with Board policy 7523 each student is required to pay a fee of $52 before the Chromebook is issued. The purpose of this fee is to defray the cost of the extended manufacturer warranty. The fee can be paid through the rSchools portal. All fees must be paid prior to your child’s school orientation date.

Costs to cover damage whether accidental, intentional or by negligence will be paid for by the student based on the fees below. Those caused by negligence or intentional actions will be treated by high school administration as a disciplinary infraction in addition to paying for the repairs.
BOE Approved 2024/2025 Damage or Loss Fees:
-Lost, Stolen or Damaged beyond repair (total loss):
1st, 5th, 9th Grade: $340.00
2nd, 6th, 10th Grade: $255.00*
3rd, 7th, 11th Grade: $170.00*
4th, 8th, 12th Grade: $85.00*
-Broken screen - $80
-Repairable damage beyond a broken screen will be sent to HP or Lenovo for a repair quote. The student will be responsible for the actual cost of repair, but not to exceed the cost of a total loss.
*These fees take into account the depreciated value of your student(s)’ Chromebook depending on the length of time it has been in their possession/assigned to them.
