Nina Peckman works for Advocates for Children of New Jersey’s KidLaw Resource Center as a staff attorney, specializing in all aspects of education law. Nina Peckman also offers parent consult and advocacy services for those who need guidance through mediations and settlement agreements.

The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County, in partnership with Monmouth ACTS, has counselors available to provide free telephonic support for ANY Monmouth County resident in need. The Monmouth County COVID-19 hot line is now available by calling MHA directly Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm. 732.542.6422.

Message from Effective School Solutions: Back to School Video Series
We have heard from many of our district partners this year that they would like to have a video resource that can be shared with students and with parents/caregivers on how to navigate the social-emotional challenges of returning to school.
With this in mind, ESS has created a video series for students and their parents/caregivers that focuses on ways to best foster emotional regulation (including stress management) to assist students in adjusting to in-person learning. The series contains 4 videos as well as the attached worksheets. The videos can be accessed by clicking on the links below:
