Early Childhood Enrollment

Program Overview

The Upper Freehold Regional Public School District PreSchool Program is a comprehensive program that services typically developing and special needs 3- and 4-year-old children. Programs will be held at Newell Elementary Schools. Placement of typically developing children into the program is based on the needs of each student and current openings. Children with special needs are placed in the program through identification, evaluation, and eligibility procedures as outlined in New Jersey Administrative Code. Tuition-paying and low-income eligible children are placed in the program through an application and a lottery procedure. The goal of our program is to provide students with an excellent early childhood learning experience.

At this time, registration for the 2023-2024 UFRSD PreK program is closed.

We will be posting program information and the registration form soon for the 2024-2025 UFRSD PreK program.

The Board has decided in order to keep the transportation costs contained, only PreK students with transportation requirements in their IEP's will be offered transportation.
